Happy New Year!

It is the first Monday of the new year, and you know what that means - the gym will be packed! And will stay packed for the next 6-8 weeks. I have mixed feelings about this. Part of me wants to say, "Yahoo! Good for you! I'm glad you're taking a leap and making a change in your life and are getting on the road to a more healthy you." And the other part of me, well that part isn't so nice. It wants to nicely ask those new gym folks to, "Get off my treadmill. Stay in your track lane." and other such things. But I resist. And help the new folks out when they can't figure out the machine. Or know where the bathroom or locker room is.

I did manage to hit up CrossFit for the 6am class. My first class of the year. The counter resets at 0. Last year I made it to 71 CF classes after I started in the first part of June. I'm hoping to be able to do that again, and even more. I don't set resolutions anymore, but goals. Sometimes I put them out there for the universe to see, sometimes I don't. I figure since I have this fancy new blog now, I should put these goals out here, and maybe it will help to keep myself accountable. Let's see how that works out.




2016 Fitness Goals

Attend 125 CrossFit Classes
Attend 110 Jazzercise Classes
Run 1000 miles (85 per month or 19.25 a week)
