Weekly Wrap-Up for January 17-23, 2016

My week of fitness looked like this...

Sunday - 3.26m on the gym treadmill - too cold outside to hit the streets
               Run streak day 21! (RSD21).


Monday - 4.51m on the gym treadmill. Didn't get up for CrossFit - the bed was too warm.

Tuesday - 9:30am Jazzercise
                4:30 - 2m gym track with with a friend followed by a 1.08m treadmill run.

Wednesday - 6am CrossFit   I did Wall Walks!
                      8:30am Jazzercise



Thursday - 6am CrossFit
                  4:30 Run 2.5m

Friday - 6am CrossFit
              930am Jazzercise
             2:30pm 2.33m Run

Saturday - Long run with KC Express 7.07m

Happy New Year!

It is the first Monday of the new year, and you know what that means - the gym will be packed! And will stay packed for the next 6-8 weeks. I have mixed feelings about this. Part of me wants to say, "Yahoo! Good for you! I'm glad you're taking a leap and making a change in your life and are getting on the road to a more healthy you." And the other part of me, well that part isn't so nice. It wants to nicely ask those new gym folks to, "Get off my treadmill. Stay in your track lane." and other such things. But I resist. And help the new folks out when they can't figure out the machine. Or know where the bathroom or locker room is.

I did manage to hit up CrossFit for the 6am class. My first class of the year. The counter resets at 0. Last year I made it to 71 CF classes after I started in the first part of June. I'm hoping to be able to do that again, and even more. I don't set resolutions anymore, but goals. Sometimes I put them out there for the universe to see, sometimes I don't. I figure since I have this fancy new blog now, I should put these goals out here, and maybe it will help to keep myself accountable. Let's see how that works out.

Attend 110 Jazzercise Classes
Run 1000 miles (85 per month or 19.25 a week)

Weekly Wrap-Up for December 27, 2015 - January 2, 2016

My week of fitness looked like this...


Sunday - Rest day. I went to the Chiefs game with my husband and in-laws and watched them CRUSH the Browns. See ya Johnny Football. #sorrynotsorry

Monday - Snow and ice were on the ground, but I did get in a 1 mile neighborhood run.

Foo Dog by INKnBURN for the win


Tuesday - Since the snow and ice were still around, I headed to the gym for a 2.85 indoor run followed by an hour yoga class. I had a friend text me, so we met up later for a 3.47m street run. Felt great!

Wednesday - 6am CrossFit
                      530pm 1.76 indoor gym track run

Thursday - 6am CrossFit
                   730am 1.33m indoor gym track run

Friday - Happy New Year! I ran with the KC Track Club and got in 5.62 miles while wearing the new kit from INKnBURN - Miko. Love this kit. It is so beautiful!




Saturday - 8.01 miles with the ladies of KC Express
