Product Review - Qalo Ring

My new ring came! My new ring came!

Yahoo! I've been wanting a wedding ring that I can wear out and about and not have to think about it getting snagged on anything, lost, chipped, damaged, or whatever. Something like just a plain men's band, but not even that expensive. And I also want to be able to wear it at CrossFit or Boot Camp, where I'm working with weights and don't want to have a huge sore hand from where the band meets the bar and rubs my hand raw. So a couple of months ago a friend at CrossFit was showing off her new 'gym-friendly' ring, and I really liked it. So I put it on my birthday wish list, and waited. The birthday rolled around and no ring. So, I ordered one for myself.

And que the Qalo Ring!

It's cool. It is made of silicone, yet still sized to fit my finger, or anyone else with standard ring size fingers. It is comfortable, cute, and makes the statement that I'm looking for - I'm married, leave me alone.

So it arrived less than a week after I ordered it. I picked out the women's "Breast Cancer" pink love ring for $15.99. No, I don't have or have had breast cancer, but I liked the pink and the heart engraved on it, so that is the one I went with. There are plenty of others to pick from though. Different colors or symbols engraved. You can get a 3 or 5 pack too so you always have one that matches your outfit. And men's rings start at $19.99, so they are totally reasonably priced too.

When my ring arrived it was tucked inside a cute zipper pouch that had a clip on it. I think this is so that I can put my 'real' wedding ring in there and tuck the pouch into my gym bag while I'm at the gym. Or maybe I can keep a couple of quarters in there to call home in case I get lost, or forget my milk money at lunch. It is a nice touch, but I think I'll end up wearing my Qalo more often than not, and will just find another fun use for the pouch.

Interested in ordering a Qalo for yourself? They sent me a $5 off code. The code is "Get$5" Click here to order your ring!

And no, Qalo has not asked me to write this review. I just like the product. Enjoy!
